Pipe labelling tape with your choice of text

Flo-Code fritext is a pipe marking tape with a solid colour background and a white arrow in the middle that you can choose any text to print on. According to the Swedish standard, all pipes must be visibly labelled in each room. It is becoming increasingly common to state what the pipe contains and what it serves.
You do not need to determine the flow direction of the pipe labelling tape when ordering, as the tape is easily turned so that the arrow points in the right direction when applied. All arrows point in the same direction, and the texts are repeated alternately right-side up and upside down to ensure correct labelling when the tape is applied.

Choose the right pipe marking tape for your needs

To ensure that your pipe labelling lasts a long time, it is important to choose the right material. We offer three different grades of
Flo-Code pipe marking tapes - adapted for different environments:

For indoor use (PP)
Our standard choice for all normal indoor applications. A durable, PVC-free tape with a long lifetime (over 15 years) in normal use. Recommended for all indoor environments where the tape is not exposed to strong sun or harsh chemicals.

For outdoor use (PXP)
For normal outdoor installations. This PVC-free tape has a UV-protective laminate which means that colour recognition can be expected for up to 10 years with normal outdoor exposure. Also suitable for indoor use where extra durability is required.

For extreme environments (FXP)
Our strongest and most durable material - Collinder's premium option. The over-laminated polyester withstands high temperatures (up to +150°C), chemicals, solvents and repeated cleaning. Perfect for harsh industrial environments, cleanrooms or food production where nothing can be compromised. With a very strong adhesive and up to 15 years of outdoor durability, this is the choice for those who demand maximum durability.

Executive summary

  • Choose PP  if the labelling is to be placed indoors under normal conditions.
  • Select PXP  - if the labelling is to be placed outdoors under normal conditions.
  • Select FXP  - if the labelling will be used in a harsh environment with chemicals, high heat or heavy cleaning.
