The width of the ribbon should be about 5-10 mm wider than the label.
- Wax ribbon provides clear printing and good blackness. Limited resistance to mechanical abrasion and chemicals. Mainly used for paper labels.
- Resin tapes are used for secure labelling on synthetic materials where high demands are placed on scratch resistance and resistance to abrasion, chemicals and high temperatures. It can be used on most materials, from coated and various paper grades to synthetic materials such as polyester, PP and vinyl, etc.
