Padlocks that protect when working with electrical installations

Security padlocks specifically developed for Lockout/Tagout in electrical environments and confined spaces. The visible parts of the lock are made of non-conductive plastic and its internal components are made of non-sparking and non-magnetic materials such as plastic, copper and brass. The locks have the same reliability as Zenex locks, but with a durable nylon shackle for extra durability.
The product is not EX-rated according to the official certification standards. However, it has undergone rigorous and equivalent tests to fulfil the safety requirements in potentially explosive environments.

  • Insulated plastic bracket: 38 mm high shackle in non-conductive plastic to prevent current from being transmitted to the key.
  • Insulating casing: Impact-resistant Zenex™ thermoplastic housing that is lightweight, durable and electrically insulating.
  • Adapted for Lockout/Tagout: Colour-coded, durable and designed for everyday use in industry and electrical installation.
  • Areas of use: Ideal for confined spaces, mines, medical, military and electrical environments.
  • Non-conductive and non-sparking materials: All visible parts are made of non-conductive plastic, and all components are non-sparking and non-magnetic (plastic, copper and brass).
  • High strength: The nylon shackle can withstand a tensile force of up to 136kg.
  • Secure key function: The key cannot be pulled out when the lock is open, reducing the risk of misuse.
  • Personalised engraving: We offer engraving on locks for clear labelling and easier handling.

 

This lock is also available in customised key systems with equal locking (KA) and/or master key systems (MK).
We also offer engraving in the locks and associated Ø25 mm key fobs in plastic or aluminium that matches the colour of the lock.
