Impact protection for columns
The Boplan KP Protector is a flexible impact protection system that is fitted around square columns to protect them from collisions with forklift trucks and other internal transport vehicles. It is used in warehouses, industrial facilities and logistics environments where pillars are at risk of being subjected to impacts and collisions during day-to-day operations.
The pillar guard surrounds the pillar and absorbs the impact energy in the event of a collision. Its flexible design helps to minimise damage to both the pillar and the vehicle, thereby contributing to improved safety, reduced maintenance and lower repair costs.
KP Protector is made from durable and flexible Extrilene® and forms part of Boplan’s FLEX IMPACT® system. The protector is easy to fit around the pillar without needing to be fixed to the floor and, if necessary, can be supplemented with KP filler foam to ensure a secure fit when the pillar is smaller than the protector’s internal dimensions.
