Pipe labelling tape with GHS symbols for self-printing
GHS symbols provide clear and approved labelling of, for example, pipelines with hazardous contents. With Flo-Code Print you can easily print your own GHS symbols.
According to AFS 2014:43 § 20 the labelling of pipes with hazardous chemicals or flammable contents shall be marked with CLP/GHS hazard pictograms. On pipelines, no explanatory text or signal words are needed.
NOTE! Compressed air and all gases with a pressure of 2 bar or more also require additional labelling with GHS4 (Gas under pressure). However, the pictogram must be supplemented with explanatory text on tank labels and containers.
- Label correctly - by law: Our GHS symbols comply with the requirements of AFS 2014:43 for the labelling of hazardous chemicals in pipes.
- Easy and flexible printing: Make it easy to label pipes with the correct GHS symbols just when you need it.
- Clear warnings - without extra text: A symbol is enough to show what the pipe contains and what the risks are.
- Compressed air should also be labelled: The GHS4 symbol for pressurised gas is required at 2 bar or more - regardless of the hazardousness of the gas.
- Suitable for a wider range of uses: Use the symbols on pipes, tanks and containers - containers also require explanatory text.
- Simpler and safer working environment: With the right labelling, everyone knows immediately what is going on - and can act quickly if something happens.
