Locks with high security and protection against shock and corrosion
Brady SafeKey nylon padlocks are specially developed to offer high security and flexibility in locking and lock management. These locks are part of the Brady SafeKey series and have a unique key mechanism that provides significantly more possible key combinations compared to traditional security padlocks. This reduces the risk of key duplication and increases security in shared use.
The lock's locking mechanism is insulated and non-conductive, protecting the user from electric shock when the key is inserted - an important safety feature in electrical environments. The advanced design with six precision steel blades provides strong protection against tampering and unauthorised opening.
The padlock is made of lightweight but durable nylon that can withstand shocks, chemicals, corrosion and extreme temperatures, making it well suited for demanding industrial environments. The knurled and non-sparking lock body improves grip and makes the lock easy to handle even with gloves.
The key can only be removed when the padlock is locked, which prevents the key from being left in an unlocked position.
The product is not EX-rated according to the official certification standards. However, it has undergone rigorous and equivalent tests to fulfil safety requirements in potentially explosive environments. Read more under the Documents tab.
